In case an entrepreneur wants
to invest in a project and cannot offer sufficient
securities, he or she can get help from the Guarantee Bank
Hessen GmbH, a public facility, in which the Hesse Chambers of
Commerce hold a share as well. The COC can be requested to issue an
opinion on the entrepreneurial project.
Expert Advice for Start-ups
A flourishing
economy needs business startups - people with new ideas, the
courage to take risks and a lot of commitment. This, however, is
not enough for the step to self-employment. In special seminars and
individual meetings the COC offers expert advice for start-up
entrepreneurs. The COC helps with the selection of the name of the
company and the legal form and informs you about regulations that
are to be observed as well as what support can be received from the
State. The COC organizes special Start-up Trade Fairs where it
presents ways of how to engage in trade and business and generate
self-employed income. Visitors also find all important information
for the Start-up process.
Start-up Exchange
In this Start-up
Exchange, the 81 Chambers of Commerce in Germany bring together
companies with succession problems and founders of new businesses
who want to take over a company or strive for an active
partnership.
Financial Help
The State offers all sorts
of financial means, also called subsidies, to the economy. The
Financial Programs of the EU, the National and State governments
are of great variety and can also be combined, but they are not
always obvious to the entrepreneurs. The COC provides advice about
current Support Programs and their terms and conditions. With every
subsidy application – which is placed via banks – the authorities
granting the subsidies require a statement from the COC.
Business Consultancy
The COC offers
information to firms that are in need of business consulting. It is
possible to obtain subsidies for these services. The COC can help
with application procedures and knows the conditions for public
grants.
Company Succession
A company's transfer
often comes along with a number of legal and tax hurdles. For both
the person handing over the company as well as the person taking
over the company, the financial assessment of the company is of
particular importance. At the COC you receive advice and
information.
